Privacy policy

This website is built to collect as little as possible. Here is exactly what that means, in plain language.

Last updated

This policy explains how Netolyst, a software product company powered by AuxWork Private Limited, handles information in connection with this website. It covers this website only. Individual Netolyst products and enterprise deployments are governed by the agreements and notices that accompany them.

The short version

Information we collect

Information you give us

Our contact form works in one of two ways, and the form itself tells you which mode is active when you use it:

Please do not include passwords, credentials, financial details, health information, or other sensitive information in an enquiry. If you contact us by email instead, we receive whatever your message and email headers contain.

Information collected automatically

This site is a set of static pages served by our hosting provider. Like any web server, that provider processes technical request data — such as IP address, the page requested, timestamp, referrer, and browser user agent — to deliver pages, keep the service available, and protect it from abuse. We use these operational logs only for security and reliability, not to identify or track individual visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else.

We do not use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, fingerprinting, or any third-party analytics on this website.

Why we use this information

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent when you submit an enquiry, and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We rely on a small number of service providers to operate this site, such as our hosting and email providers, who process information on our behalf and under contract. We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend legal claims or protect the safety of our systems and users.

Our service providers may operate in countries other than your own. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and to maintain a reasonable record of our conversation, and then delete it. Operational server logs are short-lived and are retained by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule. Drafts prepared in draft mode are never received by us, so there is nothing for us to keep.

How we protect it

This site is served exclusively over HTTPS and ships with protective response headers, including a strict referrer policy, frame and content-type protections, and a permissions policy that disables camera, microphone, and geolocation access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we design for minimal collection precisely so there is less to protect.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, request a copy in a portable format, or withdraw consent you previously gave. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will ask for enough information to confirm who you are, and we will respond within the time frame the applicable law allows.

Children

This website is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a site we do not operate, that site's own privacy practices apply. We encourage you to read them.

Changes to this policy

As our products and contact channels develop, this policy will develop with them. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be described here rather than made quietly.

Contact us

A direct contact address will be published here as soon as our enquiry channel is verified. Until then, our contact page explains how to prepare an enquiry — and, because that form does not transmit anything yet, there is currently no enquiry data for us to hold.
